Eeeeeeeeee! Today, Star Wars announced the new animated series coming up by Dave Filoni and crew:  

Star Wars Resistance

Needless to say, I might be a bit excited. And now you can be the first to color a page from this new series.

So what do we know so far? This new storyline is set in the time running up to The Force Awakens. Thus, we have BB-8, Poe Dameron, Captain Phasma, and other Star Wars characters you know and love. 

Kazuda Xiono, Emerging Ace Pilot

The story is centered around a Kazuda Xiono, a young pilot. We don't know if this is a male or female. We don't know the species. Kazuda is sent by General Leia Organa on a spy mission. Surveillance. I think this will be a combo of Flying and Rolling Surveillance™! 😉

It's supposed to be an anime inspired type of animation. That has my curiosity primed. Autumn can't get here soon enough.

Dear Dave Filoni, will you pretty please send me names and pics of characters so I can start planning free theme foods and printables for the fans??? Hey, I can wish! :)
