One of my favorite breakfasts or snacks is Commander Appo's Apple Cider Cake. It's the perfect apple and spice flavor, along with reminding me of a moist apple muffin in texture. You will find both the recipe and the free printable Star Wars party food label below. In this recipe I do use Alpine Spiced Apple Cider Instant Drink Mix. If you can't find it, hopefully you can find something similar.

Here is the free printable Star Wars party label or food sign for Commander Appo's Apple Cider Cake. And you will find the recipe below. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Buon Appetito!

Commander Appo's Apple Cider Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

(Topping)
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 packet (individual serving size) Alpine Spiced Cider Mix
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

(Cake)
  • 1/2 cup butter (melted)
  • 1 packet (individual serving size) Alpine Spiced Cider Mix
  • 2/3 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 apple, peeled and chopped

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a 9x5 in loaf pan.
  2. Mix all topping ingredients in a small bowl until finely crumbled, set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, stir together butter, cider mix, sugar, milk, and vanilla. Add in eggs and stir well.
  4. Add flour and baking powder on top of batter and mix well.
  5. Pour half of batter into prepared pan. Spread out half the chopped apples on top, and then spread with half the topping. Pat down into batter. Then add the other half of the batter, apples, and topping. Again pat down.
  6. Bake in preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the center seems firm and has a light spring to the touch. Remove from pan within 10 minutes. Serve warm or cold.
