Star Wars The Clone Wars 

The Clone Wars was a weekly favorite in our home. We held a screening party at our home before the day it was officially released on Cartoon Network, back before Disney bought the rights to Lucas Film.

I'll never forget that party, as we held a Jedi Training Academy at our local park. We opened it up to all the children who wanted to attend, whether we knew them or not.

Hasbro sent us a bunch of the new action figures, a game, etc. Lucas Film sent us a DVD of the screening, masks, free gaming codes, goodie bags, and other favors. All the children who attended had an amazing time.

My 17 year old son, Chef Bretto, is still a big Clone Wars fan. For him, nothing else has compared. I think Lucas Film and Hasbro won his loyalty for life! 🌟

Thus, I bring you a recipe he loves named after his favorite Star Wars characters. Don't forget the free printable label!

Clones Scones

To make it easy on you, I followed this Scone Recipe on Baker Bettie's website, with these few adjustments: In the dough, I added a teaspoon vanilla extract, a teaspoon cinnamon, an extra 1/4 cup sugar, and 1 cup of fresh blueberries. 

For the topping, I made a simple glaze of confectioner's sugar mixed with vanilla extract, cinnamon, and milk. Drizzled it on top and we were in a galaxy far, far away. Mmmm!
